The long awaited quiz night took place on Saturday the 8th August and as anticipated was well attended. The youth committee members ensured that everyone indulged themselves in buying as many raffle tickets as they could and raised a considerable amount of cash for KG and all the winners received fantastic prizes generously donated by local companies, well done guys and thank you for all of the hard work and effort you placed into achieving this. The quiz got underway and was extremely good fun exchanges of banter between tables ensued and battle of brains began, but not on my table it was more beer than brains and that was just me.

The 80s band MONUMENT thrashed out some extremely popular numbers from the 80s to rapturous applause and very embarrassing 80s style dancing, thank you to the band for your wonderful rendition and professionalism cant wait till the next time.

Wriggs Heads or Tails was an absolute winner, it had us all in hysterics and in a muddle two rounds of hands on heads or if the coin called hands on bums for tails produced some worthy winners each of which received cash prizes for guessing the right spin of the coin.

Calling All Goal Keepers, on the 20th and 21st August Rob Munn is holding a Goal Keeper Academy from 9am-3.30pm. All are welcome.

It was really great to see lots of people enjoying themselves at our club house on Saturday 20th june for our 'Evening with Rod Munn' night.

Rob Munn, Claire Williams, Darren Satchel were out of this world!! What talented voices they have !! Im looking forward to seeing Rob on X Factor next year !!

I would like to thank everyone that helped in the build up and on the day/night. Paula, Sarah, Lynsey, Karen to name a few !!!

Dominos provided us with plenty of tasty free pizza, thanks to Dominos and to Wrigs for sorting that out.

Everyone had such a great time with the last people leaving at 4 am !!!!
