KGFC would like to invite You and Your Family to a Night at the Races

Friday 30th September 2011 at Harlow Stadium, Roydon Road, Harlow, Essex, CM19 5DY, Doors open 6.00pm first race at 7.30pm.

As you are probably aware on the 27th May, KGFC were invited to take part in a Team Challenge against five other clubs at Harlow Stadium, it was all down to the last race when our dog "Pretty Doon" won. KGFC have now been invited back in September to have a chance of winning £500, tickets are on sale NOW.......

Adults £5.00 a ticket, Children are FREE but MUST be accompanied by a parent and supervised at all times as they will be representing KGFC.

The weather was hot, the football was fantastic and the sportsmanship on the field from players and supporters was brilliant - just how football should be!!  Each year we receive so many wonderful comments, and we are very grateful for your support. We hoped you all enjoyed yourselves and plan on attending more of our festivals and tournaments in the future.

King George would also like to take this opportunity to thank all our volunteers, you are a big credit to the club and without you this day wouldn't have been so successful and fun for all those that attended.

On Sunday six of the U11 Python Stars (Brandon James, George Brown, Nicholas Callus-Upstone, Codie Finch, Ewan Fewell and Reggie Mustafa) were asked to be ball boys at the Herts FA Seniors County Cup Final.

This match would be contested between Belstone Sunday and Comet Sports with the boys strategically placed around the pitch, the match commenced and was a physical battle from start to finish which Belstone won 3 - 2 after coming from behind twice and finally winning the game in extra time.

The boys had a great day and collected medals for their efforts and some gifts. King George Football Club would like to thank the Herts FA for giving the boys the opportunity to participate in a great day!
